It used to be big back in 2020, but the team behind it draggin their bowsack on updates really killed the hype for it. Could spring up big if they announce something about it again thoughever
It was super dope to play for one friday night, when it just came out.
And then that was enough for me. Other rythm games I've played before were just way more fun to me, like Donkey Konga, Elite Beat Agents, Osu, DDR, Taiko nonTatsujin, Guitar Hero, to name the most off the top of my head.
I think its really cool how much attention it got, and really interresting to see how much new people FNF brought to Newgrounds. Also awesome how much people all over the globe, modded the absolute shizzle out of that pretty simple, humble browser-game, that just had a strong cute/bold art-style going for it. Pretty crazy just how much mods and fanart and overal solid status it's gotten.
Though I wish I had seen more people, make their own rythm games from scratch, inspired by FNF, instead of that many mods of it. But still great to see what cool stuff people have done with it, over the years.
